There is decent swimming, sunbathing and water sports at the beaches, while the pleasant seafront promenade runs all the way from the Costa Adeje to Playa de las Americas and then on to the equally bustling resort complex of Los Cristianos. These pumping resorts are known for their hardy nightlife which appeals mostly to a young set.
